Paul Newman: A Life
After having listened to these 13 CDs, I am now a devoted Paul Newman fan despite having seen only four of his films to date. This detailed biography presents the actor, car racer, and philanthropist as a fun-loving, competitive, and spirited joker who lived life to the fullest. Attributing much of his success to pure luck and genetics, Newman’s level of celebrity did not often sit well with him, his relationships with his son and father were markedly strained, and his marriages were not as idyllic as one might think. I came away from this work feeling like I knew Newman personally, and I now am even more obsessed than ever with his lime vinaigrette salad dressing. If only his organic cat food wasn’t so pricey!
Thanks for this tribute - I too have deepest respect for Paul Newman and his work (acting and company vision). If you consider what can’t go into certified organic pet food products and how much more expensive organic ingredients are that are used in certified organic pet foods, his products are worth the money. I also want to mention that only *certified* organic pet food claims are regulated and enforced. Any other (non-certified) organic claim isn’t verified by an unbiased third party.
