Why does this always happen to me?  I have this habit of putting lots of books that I want to read on hold at the library and then they inevitably all come in at the same time!  Now I have these three that all need to be read in the next two weeks!  Good thing next week I’ll have a few days off and extra time to read.  Which should I read first??

I’d go with Margaret Atwood, for the selfish reason that I’m curious if I should put it on my own list, plus odds are it will be thought-provoking and a fast read. Did you like Oryx and Crake? I think my favorite Atwood work to date is Life Before Man.

Ha, I have you beat. I got an advance copy of Ehrenreich’s book about 3 or 4 months ago and still haven’t found time to crack it open! I’ll vote for the Atwood too, though - I just ‘discovered’ her this year (via The Handmaid’s Tale) and now have two of her older novels on my ‘to-be-read’ list. I’m curious how her latest is. If it’s great, maybe I’ll make time for her sooner rather than later!
