Darkly Dreaming Dexter

Darkly Dreaming DexterThe Showtime television series, which just recently won a Golden Globe for Best Actor and had the highest rating for any show in Showtime history is based on this book. Dexter is one of the best shows on television and recently ended it fourth season with a huge shock, but I won’t ruin it for anyone that hasn’t seen it yet. After watching that insane final I wanted to find out more about Dexter and found out the whole show is based on a series of books. This is the first book in the series introducing you to Dexter Morgan and his controversial way of living his daily life; lab technician for the cops during the day and serial killer by night. I noticed from reading the book that “Dex” comes off more like a horrible and terrible person compared to the show, but I’m willing to give credit to Michael C. Hall for brilliant acting in the television show. There isn’t as many difference between the book and the show, which means the book is pretty good and its a short easy read. If you can’t wait for season five of  the show to start, then read the series and fall in love with Dexter Morgan and his story all over again.

Great article. There’s a lot of good information here, though I did want to let you know something - I am running Redhat with the up-to-date beta of Firefox, and the look and feel of your blog is kind of bizarre for me. I can understand the articles, but the navigation doesn’t function so good.
