Teammates
I was watching a recent New York Met’s game over the holiday weekend, when I heard the broadcasters talking about Jackie Robinson. I’ve never really paid attention to the history of baseball, but I recently realized that Jackie Robinson didn’t represent baseball, but independence in this country. This classic short and easy nonfiction children’s book helps represent the struggles Robinson went through during his time in baseball. Pee Wee Reese, a teammate of Robinson’s, was the only one that supported him during his struggles and this book shows the common bond they had. The strength and determination of these two men will help inspire children to think outside the box and pursue their dreams no matter whom or what they are.
Well done job on the book the best review I had seen in a long time. I think you should write more and voice yourself in other media areas.
