Meet Mr. Pusskins: grouchy, unappreciative, condescending, and beyond bored. Dissatisfied with a cozy, tranquil life with his young owner Emily, Mr. Pusskins leaves home for adventure and nonstop fun. But how will he ever find her again once he starts feeling cold, lonely, hungry, and unloved? I heartily enjoyed reading this one aloud to my long-suffering husband and am convinced it would make a fantastic story hour pick. The expressive illustrations are phenomenal, capturing the disgruntled frowns and sneers of Mr. Pusskins perfectly and hysterically. The sequel is out and another as well; hopefully there will be even more!
