Earth-Friendly Crafts: Clever Ways to Reuse Everday Items I am an artist and a packrat. My art space at home is almost full.  So I have to start using what I have collected or decide what to throw away.  My creative urges kicked in.  I searched for and found a book that had some good craft ideas,  Earth-Friendly Crafts: Clever Ways to Reuse Everyday Items by Kathy Ross and Illustrated by Celine Malepart.  The project I would most like to make is the “Slinky CD Holder.”  It is something that would be useful.  And, I have all the stuff to make it at home.  The materials required are: an old slinky, a damaged CD (to use as the base), thin craft ribbon (to tie the ends of the CD together), artificial flowers, scissors and white craft glue.  Seems easy enough to make.  It also gets a few things off the shelf and into use.
